In 1987, Industrial Minera Continental S.A. de C.V., consolidates thanks to the accumulated experience of its founders of more than 50 years in mining, as well as in international trade of raw materials for the iron, steel, welding electrodes and other industries.

For the year 1995, the company changed its name to Industrial Minera Comercial S.A. de C.V.
